There is no doubt about it, Crittall-Style is ‘à la mode’ and it’s easy to see why – clean, minimal, no-fuss, low-profile, not to mention the abundance of light that this style provides. Crittall’s eponymous metal-framed doors and windows, which bring a touch of the industrial, were once perhaps considered poor fitting and a poor choice have become a sought after design statement thanks to a few decades of design evolution – the essence of this style now enhances environments in which to live and work.
Our team were approached by a long-standing client who was seeking a set of kitchen cupboard doors in a similarly minimal and elegant style.
As with any bespoke project, communication is key to its success. This project was no different and multiple discussions took place to ensure all the dimensional information was understood along with the how the doors, we were to provide, would interact with the surrounding cabinetry.
The agreed designs were put into production, which saw the creation of two matching pairs of powder-coated steel frame doors with reeded glass, which fitted beautifully!
