Langan’s Brasserie, Mayfair
Taking inspiration from our polished brass champagne drinks trolley, we were contacted by the new owners of Langan’s Brasserie in London, who were looking for something bespoke for their soon-to-be renovated bar and restaurant.
With refurbishments to their iconic Mayfair establishment well underway, the remit was for something a little more contemporary, but equally as elegant as the fleet of bespoke trolleys we had created for the world-renown Gleneagles Hotel.
Once our 3D renders were approved – our clients delighted that we had represented the style of trolley they were looking for – our expert craftsmen, based in our workshop in Devon, set about producing an adapted version of our polished brass champagne drinks trolley.

Using British materials and a combination of hand and machine techniques, the new design incorporated a slightly more modern and simple style of finial and other fittings, locally manufactured polished glass, a cradled double-skinned stainless steel ice bowl, and a set of elegant brass hooded castor wheels.
As a final touch, we incorporated the company’s logo on engraved brass plates that were mounted on either side of the trolley.
Combining his visit to London, Andrew was on hand to deliver the trolley to its new home – the now newly re-imagined Langan’s, once legendary hang out of seventies’ celebrities that included Muhammad Ali and Marlon Brando. Restored it to its former glory, the new owners – both experienced restauranteurs – have recaptured Langan’s as a mainstay of London’s dining scene for the 21st century. Andrew Nebbett Designs was delighted to have played a small part in its renovation.

Characterful and aged may be right for one person, but modern, perfectly finished and sleek may be best for another. Polished chrome or nickel finishes are stunning in equal measure, and we regularly work with clients to achieve such a finish. These finishes are achieved by plating the surface of the base material, which is remarkably durable if treated correctly. For more information, please contact our team.
