Nestled on Devon’s north coast is one of Great Britain’s most idyllic & historic coastal fishing villages – Clovelly. It is steeped in history, and steep in nature, as anyone who has attempted to stroll through its quaint, pedestrianised cobbled streets will confirm! Among the timeless buildings, you will find one of Clovelly’s most recognised – The Red Lion Hotel, perched on the harbour side. Andrew Nebbett Designs were approached by Interior Designer, Annie Waite, to assist with some of the specified metalwork items for the main bar and snug bar of the hotel, for its refurbishment which was completed in early 2019.
This project evolved through many discussions to understand the design & budget expectations. AND worked with Annie to achieve designs which were solid, elegant and in-keeping with the overall scheme and which worked within the budgets set. The completed refurbishment shows these pieces in their new homes, beautifully.
