Our solid brass sliding door track has been specifically designed to work with a variety of sliding door and sliding panel systems. Exclusive to Andrew Nebbett Designs, this high-quality brass track is fully crafted in-house by our team in England. The sliding door track is supplied with two external stoppers as standard (one at either end of the track). This track can be used can be used to create rolling barn doors, rolling panels to hide a TV and rolling panels to hold a painting or artwork that needs to be moved across a wall.
With our sliding door hardware components, you can ‘build your own’ custom sliding system. Our hardware consists of this brass sliding track, with optional internal stoppers, door guides (feet/wheels to run along the wall/skirting or floor post to guide the door or panel from underneath), and brass door rollers (attached to the top of the doors or panels) to hold them securely on the track.
The standard length of our solid brass sliding door track is 3000mm. Each track is made to order and available in either polished brass or with an antique brass finish. Please select from the dropdown when placing an order. Should you require a different track length, please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
The track measures 50mm (2″) high x 12.7mm (1/2″) thick x 3000mm long as standard, with other lengths available upon request. The external stoppers are positioned 60mm from the ends of the track (65mm from the end of the track to the centreline). These stoppers will engage with the outer sides of the mounting plates of the sliding door rollers.
This track is provided with 5 wall-fixings, spaced evenly across its length, allowing for proper placement of the external stoppers. If internal stoppers are selected, this may affect the location of the wall-fixings. It is essential that the track system is mounted into solid material to ensure proper anchorage. Andrew Nebbett Designs recommends consulting a qualified professional (e.g., a building contractor) to assess the suitability of this product for your specific sliding door or panel installation.
Optional internal stoppers can be purchased. These are designed to ensure doors or panels stop centrally within the opening, preventing over-run if only one is closed. We will require additional details if you choose this option to ensure correct placement.
